EVENTS DO NOT BE MISSED !

  • The must-see events of the Semaine du Golfe!

From Friday 12 to Sunday 21 May 2023

Driven by the pleasure of getting together, celebrating and discovering the region and its talents, the Fête de la Bretagne is a unique family event that brings together several hundred thousand people every year in Brittany, France and the world. Through an eclectic but accessible programme, these 10 days of festivities offer you a concentrate of Breton singularities, around creation, sharing and above all conviviality. And in order to open up to as many people as possible, many of the events in the programme are free.

Sunday 14 th May : Soroptimist : Womens and Sea

The meeting will take place on 14 May 2023 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Awen Pub (in front of the jetty in Vannes). We will give the floor to a dozen women who have chosen the maritime world as a profession or passion, so that they can express themselves on their motivations, the difficulties they have encountered and the means they have used to make their project a reality. They will talk about their daily life to reconcile family, professional and social life, and manage their career on an equal footing with men.

The world tour of M. de La Pérouse, conference. M. Joël Darondeau, from the association Saint-Gildas village d'artistes, evokes the life of one of the greatest French navigators, M. de Lapérouse. He retraces his life in the 18th century, in the midst of a historical upheaval for France.
