      • PLOUGOUMELEN
      • Le Traon is a tributary of the river Bono and remains to this day a charming natural site. The coastal path leads you through a marvellous maritime landscape. At the heart of the village, Plougoumelen's church is home to a very unusual relic: a 'double' Celtic cross. The cross is a listed historic moment and probably the only one of its kind but little is known about its origins. The district of Plougoumelen covers a wide area and is perfect for a gentle stroll through the countryside with plenty of sights to see, such as the thatched cottages of Cahire, Lestreviau Chapel, the ancient wash houses..
