My mini odyssey has take us east to the Thames estuary from Chichester harbour. We had some fabulous sailing from Hayling to Eastbourne, then on to Ramsgate. From there up the scenic Thames, with some help from the RNLI! ( Mast down at South dock marina Rotherhithe hoping it’s headed of to Bristol) into the historic Kennet and Avon Canal at Reading eventually heading to Bristol before turning left back home ! Glorious sailing all the way from the Bristol channel along the south coast pass all the iconic Harbour’s and landmarks and stopping where I fenced and weather and time permitted
Creating a loop of approximately 655 nautical miles at sea and 147 miles of charming canals and rivers.
An adventure, filled with 125 locks , 28 moving bridges, awe-inspiring aqueducts, and even 3 intriguing tunnels. With lots of sailing shared with family and friends over four months.
