Crazy Daisy

I have owned the boat since COVID. I am a 62-year-old and served in the Royal Navy for 11 years. I am now a school teacher teaching cookery, but retiring, so I am free in May to do your wonderful event. We have completed many races in Crazy Daisy, the most famous being the Great River Race on the River Thames in London, a 35 km race where we came 4th out of 279 boats in 2024. We are rowing in a race around Hayling Island tomorrow, 22km. I am a member of 3 clubs: Hornet, Stoke Bay, both in Gosport and Tudor Sailing Club, Portsmouth. Last weekend, we took part in a 24-hour charity event for a member who died of cancer aged 61. The photo attached is of us in the River Race last year. We also recently organised a litter pick along the water in Gosport. 10th out of 270 boats, and coming first in the Bursledon gig class.
