      • SAINT GOUSTAN, AURAY
      • The old stone bridge and the pretty half-timbered houses give an indication of the flourishing trade once seen by this little port. This is where Benjamin Franklin disembarked on october 26th, 1776, when he came to negotiate the first alliance between France & Usa. Saint Goustan lies in the district of Auray and has plenty of points of interest such as the beautiful old quayside buildings, the superb 15th-century stone bridge which crosses the river Loch to Kerléano Park, the old market hall and the half-timbered houses in the town centre.
