The Conway Fife One-Design was commissioned by women members of the Royal Anglesey Yacht Club to organise racing on the Menai Strait, which runs between the Ilse of Anglesey and the Wales mainland. The class was designed by William Fife III and the boats, initially about 20 were built by Dickies & Sons. The first boat was built in 1926. Coralie, Fife 12, was built in 1928. There is much more to say about the class and Coralie though maybe I can write an article.
