Being a volunteer means devoting your free time by putting your energy and skills at the service of others.
Indeed, it was on December 17, 1985 in New York that the UN decided to create World Volunteer Day to promote the work of volunteers for economic and social development at the local, national and international level.
Volunteering is part of "Semaine du Golfe"'s fundamentals. Our beautiful event exists only through the investment of 3,500 volunteers from the 17 member municipalities, making it possible to welcome this thousand heritage boats, and their crews, and the spectators from various backgrounds to attend this living spectacle in the Gulf of Morbihan.
Both at sea and on land, their missions are varied: supervision of flotillas on the water, reception of flotillas ashore, nautical safety, boarding of journalists, setting up of musical entertainment, catering on sites, management of car parks / waste , social media team... For these men and women, young and old who are at the service of our event:
If you also want to become a volunteer, create a crew space, check "Volunteer 2023" and choose your municipality and the mission you like. We will forward your request to the various coordinators, who will contact you!
