      • Irish heritage in our next edition!

          • Oisín Mac Conamhna and his friends of the "Belderrig Currah" Association have prepared a genuine cultural program which is also a "real show" around their specific maritime heritage:

            • A recreation of a fisherman’s cottage in the west of Ireland from the end of the 19th century, with exhibitors in period costume, contemporary artifacts, food, and traditional songs and music.
            • An exhibition, in French and English, devoted to the curach, and its broader context in celtic culture. Specifically, the curach in history and mythology; the origin and development of the modern form, still used in the west of Ireland; the different contemporary types and their geographical locations; celtic languages, especially Irish and Breton, their similarities and their place in the broader Indo-European family; other aspects of Irish culture.
            • Demonstrations in front of the public of traditional cooking (products shared with the visitors) and traditional crafts, eg netmaking
            • Two curachs on the quay (but they will also row & sail in special occasions)
            • Food products for sale: We will share the traditional food with the visitors; as of now we don’t intend to charge
            • Traditional songs and music
          • Irish heritage in our next edition!
